If you are 50+lbs overweight and are interested in a nutrition, exercise class and healthy living tips with Joyce Vella , please call Recreation Center 283-4726. Classes will begin on Jan 31 from 4-5:45 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. First session will be free. Session will last 6 weeks. Joyce will also offer Pilates classes from 6pm-6:45 on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning on Jan 31, the cost will be $50 members and $60 non members.

Dixie Youth Baseball registration will be held at Strike Zone as follows: Friday, Feb 3 from 6-8pm and Saturday, Feb 4 from 1pm-4pm. Cost is $65 for first child and $40 for second.

Girls Softball registration will be held at Strike Zone Friday, February 3 from 6-8pm and Saturday, Feb 4 from 9am-1pm. Cost is $70 per child.

Tball registration will be held at Recreation Department from February 27-March 16 for boys and girls ages 4-6. Tentative date to begin is April 14. Cost is $40 per child. Boys must be 4 by May 1, 2012 and girls must be 4 by January 1, 2012.

Annual Heart walk will be held February 25, 2012. Details to be announced.

Effective April 4, 2011 everyone 14 and over must have yearly membership card for admittance.The fees are $10 per year for basketball and $75 per year cardio/weight room . Daily fee of $1 is available for ages 13 and under ONLY.

Boot Camp began January 9 at 5AM at Recreation Department for men and women. There are still slots available. The session last 6 weeks and classes are on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Cost is $70 for members and $80 for non-members.

Community Announcements
Funtastic Fort reservations for the pavilion or gazebo are made by calling the Recreation Department office at 283-4726. The fee for the pavilion is $40.00 for a 2 hours period and the fee for the gazebo is $15.00 for a 2 hour period, fees must be paid prior to the reservation date.
