Hired as Executive Director in 2006. Rick is married to Toni Golden and they have two children, Seth and Sage.

Margaret McLeod
Office Manager

Resides in Shorter, AL with husband Bill. She is a graduate of Auburn University, hired as Office Manager in 2007. Margaret is also member of Chamber of Commerce Board.

Tammy Merrett

Programs Coordinator

New programs for department.. Tammy is married to Keefe and they have two children, Tristan and Morgan.

Jamelle R. Jelks
Recreation Coordinator

Supervise and Organize all youth and adult recreational activities during the evenings. He has served with the City of Tallassee as Recreation Night Coordinator since 1991. Jamelle is married to Pastor Jennifer Stewart Jelks and they have two children Reshawna, who is a teacher in the Maryland and Avalia, who also resides in Maryland.

Eric Miller
Maintenance

Duties include lawn maintenance and keeping the pool blue. Eric is a Tallassee native and has been employed with Rec Dept since March 2007.

Doug Lovejoy
Maintenance

Duties are maintaining ballfields, parks an maintaining pool. Doug has been with Rec Dept since 2010. He is married to Shonda and they reside in Tallassee.
